Penny has always been one to do shocking things. Since we were little she would be the attention grabber no matter what it was. If I fell and hurt myself Penny would be the one to tell the story so everyone was focused on her. I do not know what makes her want attention so much. Now here she is married to a man that she has known for just days. I am standing in our dining room listening to our parents discuss what to do holding one of the wedding favors she brought back for her brother and myself. The snow globes are really nice but to be reminded of this moment is probably not a great idea. Of course it does occur to me that this marriage could actually last. We do live really close to his family. In their defense they said they will be able to get to know each other during the honeymoon phase of the marriage. They liked the mystery part about the whole thing and I see their point in a small way. However I also see the disappointment on my parent’s faces. I can not imagine what his parents are going to think as well. They came to our home first but they still have an entire other home to off balance with this news. In a way I feel sorry for them. They do actually seem happy.…

We could all see the stress on Bonnie’s face as she made her way through the party speaking to all of her guests. We knew something was wrong but no one knew exactly what. She and Bobby had been planning their wedding and seemed to be the perfect couple. When ever anyone was around they were so happy seemingly. However no one knows what goes on behind closed doors. Judging by her attitude tonight it appears there is trouble in paradise. No one wants anyone to have a troubled relationship but Bonnie has a way of putting on airs that makes you know life can not be that perfect. She either has blinders on that she believes this fake world she presents or she is going to put on a brave face no matter what is really going on. I did feel sorry for her as I watched her clearly troubled about something putting on a happy face. Just three days prior we were picking out wedding favors together. She did not speak of any problems at that point. Perhaps it is just a disagreement they had just before the party that has her off her game. After all she is planning the wedding herself with very little help. She is a perfectionists and just assumes that no one can do as good of a job as she can. For that reason most people have backed off. I hope things get better for her soon.…
I have them! I have them! That is what Kelli was hollering as she came through the screen door. My mother thought there was a fire as Kelli was creating such a noise. The fact is we had worried the personalized napkins we had ordered may not make it in time for the wedding. George had wanted to have them at his reception to surprise his fiance. He heard her talking about them just a few days before and knew she would love to have them. She was trying to stay within their tight wedding budget so she had to mark them off of her list of options. When we ordered them customer service said that they may not be able to get them out in time. We decided to take that chance. The girl on the phone understood how vital these napkins were to George so she said she would try to push them through but she made no promises. You should have seen the face on his fiance when she entered the reception hall and there on the tables were the custom napkins. Her eyes searched the room for George as he stood smiling just enjoying her happiness. It is moments like that which remind me they are the perfect pair.…
